Stintino is a picturesque fishing village overlooking the Gulf of Asinara. It features a colourful and lively historic centre, where visitors can walk in the same footsteps as the ancient mariners thanks to the multimedia exhibit at the Tonnara Museum.
From here, visitors can organise wonderful excursions to the island of Asinara, which can be visited by jeep, on horseback, or on foot. Here, diving enthusiasts can also find pristine underwater scenery.
Some of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia are located around Stintino, including La Pelosa, Il Gabbiano, Le Saline, Argentiera, and Porto Palmas.
