All-Inclusive Hotels in Veneto
Offering beaches, mountains, lakes, spas, cities of the arts, excellent cuisine, and the extraordinary natural environment of the Po River Delta, visitors to the Veneto region can truly choose the type of holiday they prefer. Lake Garda is an ideal destination for those in search of relaxation, and offers sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing for sports enthusiasts.
Outdoor activities, sunbathing, and lots of relaxation, even for those who prefer to spend their holidays at the seaside. Jesolo, Bibione, and Caorle are among the most widely renowned and popular seaside resort towns for families and couples looking to relax. The coastline offers 117 km of sandy and well-equipped beaches that are perfect for children.
This region boasts an extremely rich artistic heritage, which is preserved at some of the world’s most beautiful cities of the arts: Venice, with its canals, bridges, gondolas, alleyways and splendid ancient buildings; Padua, the city of Sant’Antonio and the Scrovegni Chapel; and Verona, the city of the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.
If you like to be active, you can opt for the splendid scenery of the Belluno Dolomites (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Asiago plateau, which, in the summertime, offer a wide range of possibilities in terms of hiking, climbing, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Just think that the Asiago plateau alone offers over 500 km of paths for bike enthusiasts of all levels. If you like the mountains in the wintertime, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy snowboarding, snow-shoeing, ice climbing, cross-country skiing, mountaineering and downhill skiing. There are 450 km of slopes for alpine skiing in the Belluno mountains, and over 500 km on the Asiago plateau.
And there’s no shortage of well-equipped areas for novice skiers, or for keeping little ones entertained while mum and dad are on the slopes. In the municipality of Sappada, in the Dolomites, visitors will find the Nevelandia fun park, which features 70,000 square metres of inflatables, as well as various bobsleigh and toboggan runs. The magnificent Civetta area, between the Marmolada glacier and Cortina d’Ampezzo, and the Lessini Mountains, in the Verona area, are also suitable for children, with over 50 km of ski slopes present in the Lessini Mountains themselves, in the area of Malga San Giorgio and the Translessinia trail.
